Private farmhouse Ficulle

Located in Italy's 'golden triangle; where the three provinces of Lazio, Tuscany, and Umbria meet, Casa Le Crete is a restored farmhouse with a mixture of antique furnishings from local markets, unassuming modern pieces, and artistic decor.

Its privileged location at the top of a slope affords the villa 360-degree panoramic undisturbed views and is reached by a private access road. A place where you can slow down, unwind, observe and discover the riches of Umbria.

        The last two kilometers approaching the house are unpaved and require the use of a larger car/jeep or cross-over. Nothing daunting or scary, but uneven/bumps. It is helpful to have a car that can handle the hills and small roads.

    Casa Le Crete is comprised of two separate residences, La Dolce Villa, which is the owners home and La Dolce Vista, which is the rental property. Together they make up Casa Le Crete. 

          Complete privacy is guaranteed as the owners are never in residence when the property is rented

 The house features several options for outdoor dining, or simply relaxing with a beautiful view of the countryside. The French doors in the living room open onto a large covered terrace with a beautiful view of the countryside where you can enjoy an al fresco meal. 

       Just off the bedroom on the first floor is another terrace perfect for apertivi or simply to watch the sun set behind the hills.

    There is a built in charcoal grill on the sideof the main house.  Charcoal is available

       The proximity of the pool makes it easy to keep an eye on youngsters while they enjoy a swim.  Pool toys are available in the technical room.

      Unwind with a cooling dip in the private pool after a day of touring the hill towns. 

  Casa Le Crete is proud to offer a bottle of our organic white wine upon arrival as well as a sampling of tasty condiments prepared by our caretakers.

A complimentary pasta dinner will ensure that you are well fed your first night.

Grazia and Daniele raise their own livestock on their land and live an authentic and sustainable lifestyle.

       Grazia, is also a skilled home cook and can prepare meals at the house for you and your family. 

     A cooking class can also be organized using locally grown produce and the freshest ingredients from markets and gardens.
